I will miss Charlie Hodge! I loved hearing him laugh along with Elvis at those many concerts. They seemed to have a blast together while on stage together! Charlie Hodge appeared as a crew member in the only family board game that I know of, Ecclesiaste III The Quest. Charlie was a crew member of the elite rescue team the memphis knights. I wish Charlie wife and family all the best and my prayers go with them. God Bless them all! Alexei Heather

I had the privilege of being Charlie's friend for many years, when we were both with Elvis. Charlie was a true friend, always deserving of the trust Elvis had in him. In all the yea**ince Elvis is gone, Charlie had only good things to say about him. Charlie was musically talented, helping Elvis select the songs for "How Great Thou Art." One of his greatest gifts was his sense of humor. Once. when we were in Hawaii filming "Paradise Hawaiian Style," Elvis was in a bad mood and wanted to be left alone. I was doing his hair, when Charlie came in - within a few minutes he had Elvis laughing, his entire mood lightened and happy. I'm so thankful that Charlie called me two days before he passed away, and I had the chance to tell him I loved him.

Charlie Hodge was one of a kind. I never saw him in anything but a good mood. I have lived in Memphis for the last five years and each time I came into contact with him, he was gracious and charming and always had something good to say about ELVIS. I think he loved the fans. He was unique, in that, he was terribly loyal and this, ultimately, is what he will be remembered for. God bless him always.

It was so sad to hear of Charlie's passing, but he will be fine now as he and Elvis will be back together. What a wonderful friend he was to Elvis - always by his side. God Bless him and Elvis and keep them safe together forever.
