Dani and Juliette walked down the aisle at 8.40am on August 16th 2002 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool accompanied by an entourage of Elvis Tribute Artists as best men to the singing of Elvis' 'Hawaiin Wedding Song' followed by bridesmaids 'Priscilla Presley', 'Lady Elvis', Marilyn Monroe, their daughter Holly-Mai and nieces.

TV, Radio and Press were everywhere to record the happy moment with millions of television viewers experiencing this very special event. There was BBC and RI:SE TV filming LIVE plus SKY, Channel 4, Channel 5, Granada Reports, BBC Look North-West and even Russian State TV plus ITN and BBC Radio and the world's press. The Emerald Elvis (Mark Leen) conducted the service and was superb with the happy couple swearing vows to"Love Each Other Tender" and never to step on each other's "Blue Suede Shoes" and he sang "Dani loved Juliette and Juliette she felt the same ..." 

 It was great TV, great drama and a most beautiful Elvis Wedding before the real thing in Vegas at the world famous "Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel". The bride looked stunning and the groom immaculate and handsome and their photos adorned the world's newspapers and magazines.

Before you could catch your breath, after toasting the Wedding with Elvis Presley Champagne, they were whisked away to the Airport to fly to Las Vegas  to be married yet again on August 16th in an Elvis Wedding Chapel then spent five nights on honeymoon in Vegas .... courtesy of Viva Las Vegas Villas ... all for FREE.

The beautiful Wedding Dress was a gift from Dani and Juliette's dear friends Michelle and Philip Stubbs-a wonderful gesture at such short notice and they also gave Holly-Mai's dress. Juliette's sister Elaine and her husband Paul Jenkins looked after Holly-Mai while they were on honeymoon in Vegas also at such short notice. Ian Tolley of the Hilton Hotel, Blackpool provided a free suite at short notice for Marilyn Monroe (Suzie Kennedy) and she gave her time for free to be at the Elvis Wedding of the Century. Juliette's boss Andrew Nulty gave her time off for the Wedding and honeymoon and a BIG thank you is due to him.

After repeated attempts British Midland Airlines agreed to upgrade Dani and Juliette on the flight to the US and treated them like royalty.  We would like to than Kathy Dott and Helen Barlow of BMI for their help. In Vegas Mr Fix It himself, Phil and Ron Decar made their honeymoon a dream come true. Not only did they provide the Wedding Service, Limousines and Honeymoon Suite for FREE Juliette and Dani were taken out morning, noon and night by the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel and entertained.  So if you plan a Vegas Wedding contact Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel and tell them Sid sent you !
