I have lived in Memphis for the past five years and it has been a truly wonderful experience. I live in a small apartment at "Uptown Square" in downtown Memphis. This used to be called.. Lauderdale Courts, where ELVIS, his parents and grandmother lived from 1949 to 1953. His old unit has been restored and you can tour it or even rent it as a hotel suite. It is a marvelous place.
