June 4th 2004 is the date of the trial of Sid Shaw v Jamcat Music Ltd at Watford County Court. It is a sad that not only were we cut out of future "Elvis Experience" shows after creating worldwide publicity and working so hard but the Managing Director, Michael Welch has even refused to repay the loan made to him to purchase the air tickets for the winning couple for the "Elvis Wedding" competition when he ran out of money prior to the 2002 show. Michael King, that great Elvis Tribute Artist was not paid for the 2002 Show nor the 2003 Show and will also sue Jamcat Music.
Michael, see opposite, has kindly agreed to be a witness at the trial and is flying over specially from Spain where he is currently performing. We have just discovered another performer was cheated, Anthony Shore, who was contracted by Rachael Harvey to perform at the Elvis Experience 2003 and he was never paid the fee of 800.00. Luckily for Welch, Anthony Shore's contract was with Harvey acting on behalf of the Elvis Experience so he cannot give evidence on our behalf. Anthony has kindly agreed to join our celebrations on July 5th as an Elvis Tribute Artist.
